Zusammenfassung:Although the medical and legal professions are popularly considered to be adversaries, the continuing revolution in health care financing and delivery mechanisms makes it more important then ever for these two professions to recognize their common goals and to work together toward those goals. Although the practitioners of those professions often view their own activities in splendid isolation, it is no exaggeration to say that isolation is a perspective the country can no longer afford.
