Zusammenfassung:	Reserpine was shown to generate a liquid membrane. Transport of adrenaline, noradrenaline, dopamine, 5-hydroxytryptamine, glutamic acid, and γ-aminobutyric acid in the presence of the reserpine liquid membrane was studied. The data indicate that the phenomenon of liquid membrane formation is likely to play a role in the mechanism of reserpine action.
