Zusammenfassung:60 kindergartners were administered the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale (SBIS), and the Leiter International Performance Scale (LIPS) one fall and the Metropolitan Achievement Test (MAT) the next spring. Mean scores for the SBIS and LIPS were 106.9 and 105.9, respectively. Correlations were .77 between SBIS MAs and MAT total score; .61 between LIPS MAs and MAT total score; and .70 between SBIS/LIPS IQs. The SBIS correlated significantly higher than the LIPS with language and total achievement. Estimates of reliability were .89 and .94 for the SBIS and .81 and .89 for the LIPS. (3 ref)
