Zusammenfassung:Two clinical simulation problems (forced-choice and essay) were used to test junior and senior medical students at the end of their pediatric rotation. Comparisons were made between students with various levels of clinical experience. Increased problem solving and organizational skills were observed over time through essays, but not so on the forced-choice management problems. The conclusion was that the clinical simulation problems failed to demonstrate responsiveness to development and motivation. (kbc)
