Zusammenfassung: | Last month, we published "A Patient Classification System Based on the Behavioral System Model of Nursing: Part 1" which described the development of a patient categorization tool. This article describes how the Johnson Behavioral System Model of Nursing has been translated into a framework for clinical practice within a child psychiatry inpatient service. The process of introducing a model of practice, including education of staff, development of teaching materials, and the impact on clinical practice, is discussed. |
