Zusammenfassung:A microelectrode puller is described for the fabrication of a variety of microelectrodes such as fine tip electrodes or patch clamp electrodes. Microprocessor control permits rapid switching from one type of electrode pulling configuration to another. The motion of the puller during the electrode pulling procedure and some of the constraints regarding the current supplied to the heating filament are discussed.
