The Origin of Cerebrospinal Fluid Procoagulant Activity
The cerebrospinal fluid of children treated with CNS prophylaxis for acute lymphoblastic leukemia contains a procoagulant that is cell-associated and behaves like tissue factor. This activity cannot be demonstrated in a platelet-poor system.
