Zusammenfassung:	Laryngeal tuberculosis usually occurs with active, far-advanced pulmonary tuberculosis. A single patient with laryngeal tuberculosis had a normal chest roentgenogram. Tuberculin skin testing of exposed hospital personnel revealed three conversions of 36 tested. This case supports the view that laryngeal tuberculosis may be infectious and can occur without obvious pulmonary disease.
