Investigations on the regulation of the glycogen content in the rat adrenal cortex

The influence of dexamethasone on the glucose and insulin levels in blood as well as the glycogen content of the adrenal cortex in diabetic animals was studied. The result is that dexamethasone has an effect on adrenal glycogen which is quite independent of glucose and insulin.
