Experience in a control laboratory situation has shown that manual enzymatic activity assays have a high degree of variability between chemists because of slight differences in technique. An automated assay for the determination of asparaginase activity was developed. It reproduces exactly the same assay conditions each time it is run. The procedure is fast, precise, accurate, and has eliminated technician to technician variability. |
