Zusammenfassung: | A videotaped speechreading test,
Eyes and Spoken Language, has been designed to assess how effectively a person utilizes linguistic constraints in responding to spoken language via the visual pathway. Concurrent validity and test—retest reliability has been established using responses of 68 non-hearing-impaired young adults. A significant learning effect has been demonstrated from one administration to another 2 wk later. The clinical implications of this finding are discussed. |
