Zusammenfassung:The purpose of this article is to call attention to the fact that some of the innocuous lesions of the oral cavity that have been diagnosed as benign papilloma are, in fact, condyloma acuminatum. These lesions are of viral origin and were thought to be rare in the oral cavity. Increased incidence of this lesion in the oral cavity has prompted this paper. Clinical aspects are discussed.
