Zusammenfassung:Indocyanine green (ICG) is another dye for intraocular staining that is widely accepted among retina surgeons.4 Indocyanine green strongly stains the acellular ILM, possibly due to its firm binding to laminin and collagen type IV within the ILM.5 However, ERM even tends to stain negatively by ICG, as the hydrophilic ICG seems not to penetrate cell membranes easily.
