Zusammenfassung:	The renal Na +/K +-ATPase and the gastric H +/K +-ATPase both contain α- and β-subunits. We report here the identification and partial purification of a second population of the β-subunit of the gastric H +/K +-ATPase, which has no accompanying a-subunit detectable by Coomassie blue staining or by Western blotting with monoclonal antibodies specific for the α-subunit.
