Zusammenfassung:At first sight, it is not immediately discernible how molecular‐weight measurements can be used for the determination of binding constants for protein–ligand complexes. Nevertheless, successful strategies have been developed for the quantitative analysis of protein–ligand binding by mass spectrometry (see scheme), which offers the distinct advantages of speed and the potential for automation.
