Zusammenfassung:In contrast to other developed countries, where inequalities in health are perceived as a serious problem, such perceptions do not exist in Japan. This is at least partly due to the fact that Japan has one of the most equal income distributions in the world. Despite this the Japanese health care system is now facing two major problems. The first is financing, and the second is quality of service delivery.
