Zusammenfassung:A flexible program for the IBM PC performing a number of calculations of relevance for the prescription of hemodialysis treatment has been developed. The program has a ‘spreadsheet’-like user-friendly interface, and results may be presented graphically. The present implementation covers 89 algorithms/equations, all based on the assumption of single-pool kinetics. Some of these are detailed for the first time, including considerations on their implementation using a generalizing, structured approach.
