Proteus syndrome: Course of a severe case

We report on the course of a 4½‐year‐old boy with Proteus syndrome who was first described 3 years ago. Details are given on the phenotypic changes, the complications of corrective surgery on tissue overgrowth, and the development of a mesothelioma of the tunica vaginalis of the testis.
