Zusammenfassung:Trigeminal neuralgia refers to repeated paroxysmal, transient, and severe pain in the innervation area of the trigeminal nerve. The cause of this disease has not yet been fully elucidated. There is no special therapeutic measure to treat it. The authors have achieved relatively satisfactory curative effect in seven patients with trigeminal neuralgia by acupuncture at Renying point (St 9). This is reported as follows.
