Zusammenfassung:Until recently, prenatal diagnosis of fetal cardiac malformations was restricted to the second and third trimesters. With the advent of high-frequency transvaginal probes, earlier detection of such malformations is possible. We present a case of nonimmune hydrops fetalis with complete atrioventricular canal defect, insufficiency of atrioventricular valves, and complete heart block at 11 weeksʼ gestation diagnosed by transvaginal two-dimensional and Doppler echocardiography.
