Zusammenfassung:Severe stenosis of the left main coronary artery developed in a 58-year-old woman 9 years after orthotopic heart transplantation. Because of serious reversible myocardial ischemia and the high-risk nature of the coronary disease, coronary artery bypass grafting was performed, with no complications. Possible risk factors for the development of coronary arterial disease and its management in the transplant population are discussed.
