Zusammenfassung: | The current review of the chronic mild stress (CMS) model by Willner (1997) has focussed on the replicability of the procedure as demonstrated by its success in six of the seven laboratories which have routinely used the model. However, there was a brief mention in the article about strain differences and the one dissenting laboratory appeared to have used a more "severe" environmental procedure. Therefore, the focus of this commentary will be on genetic/environmental interactions in the CMS procedure. |
