Zusammenfassung: | Two crystal forms of Oxyphenbutazone (a monohydrate and an anhydrate) were prepared by recrystallization. The forms were characterized by means of differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetry, infrared spectrophotometry, X-ray powder diffraction patterns, thermomicroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, as well as powder and intrinsic dissolution rates. The crystal structure of the anhydrate has been elucidated and compared with that of the monohydrate. |
