Four new flavonoids, luteolin 6-

trans-caffeoylglucoside), and luteolin 7-

p-benzoylglucoside), together with four known ones 5, 4′-dihydroxy-3,6,7,3′-tetramethoxyflavone, luteolin, artemetin and isorhamnetin, were isolated from the root bark of
Vitex agnus-castus. The structures were elucidated by spectroscopic means. |
