Zusammenfassung:Neuromuscular scoliosis in a child presents as a diagnostic and therapeutic dilemma to the pediatric neurologist, the pediatric neurological surgeon, and the pediatric orthopaedist. Because of its progressive nature, it tends to be refractory to conservative management and requires active intervention. Neuromuscular scoliosis is a symptom, and the diseases leading to the deformity must be addressed together with the spinal abnormality. The framework of the diagnosis and management is addressed in this article.
