Zusammenfassung:The effects of cell swelling induced by hyposmotic shock on efflux of thyroid hormones and selected amino acids from human placental tissue were examined. Decreasing the osmolarity of external medium from 290 to 140 mOsm/kg stimulated release of taurine, tryptophan and glutamine from placental tissue fragments.
