Tc-99m Sestamibi and Tc-99m HMDP Uptake in a Malignant Phyllodes Tumor of the Breast

Phyllodes tumors account for less than 1% of breast tumors. The literature on the scintigraphic evaluation of phyllodes tumors is not extensive. The authors present a case of malignant phyllodes tumor in which positive Tc-99m sestamibi and Tc-99m HMDP uptake was recognized.
