Zusammenfassung: | In this study, the first study performed in pediatric patients, we assessed the safety and efficacy of a steroid-eluting active fixation ventricular electrode in 18 children. Our study shows that steroid-eluting active fixation leads are safe and effective in children, and suggests that these leads with their easy implantation and low chronic threshold values may be considered as the first choice in this age group. |
