Zusammenfassung: | Different phospholipids turn over at different rates with respect to their structure and localization in different cells and membranes. These membranes are highly interactive and dynamic. The interactions of agonists with receptor-linked enzymes markedly affect membrane lipid metabolism, which in turn regulates the microenvironments of membrane-bound enzymes and ion channels. In mammalian membranes arachidonate, which is almost exclusively located in the sn-2 position of membrane phospholipids, is released by several different pathways. |
