Zusammenfassung:The mammographic examination can be considered from many different perspectives, not the least of which include the complex diagnostic or public health issues that determine the place of this study in modern medical practice. There is, however, no finer example than mammography of the role of radiological science in radiography. It is important that radiologists remain ever cognizant of this role in order to maximize the benefit of the examination to their patients.
