The data (Fig. 4) show a poor correlation between angiographic percent diameter stenosis and translesional gradient, whereas the ratio of proximal-to-distal total velocity integral correlated strongly with the translesional pressure gradient (r = 0.8, p 1.7:1 is consistent with critical epicardial stenosis and provides on-line assessment for intervention. |
