Zusammenfassung:Several closely related long-chain ω-phenylalkanoic and ω-phenylalkenoic acids occur in the seed lipids of genera of the subfamily Aroideae of the Araceae. One, 13-phenyltridecanoic acid, is a major component. This is the first report of these acids in plant lipids.
