Zusammenfassung:	In the case we have reported, abdominal carcinomatosis with malignant small bowel obstruction (due to metastatic lung adenocarcinoma) developed despite ten cycles of cisplatinvinblastine and eight months of treatment with interferon and interleukin-2. Etoposide (VP-16) administered intraperitoneally as part of a phase I trial produced dramatic relief of the obstruction.
