Role of the Perinatal Autopsy in Evaluating Unusual Sonographic Findings of Intrauterine Fetal Death

ABSTRACT Three cases with an unusual sonographic presentation after fetal death are presented. In instances in which a complete autopsy cannot be performed, a plea is made for a sonographically directed necropsy of the organ system with a presumed congenital abnormality.
