Zusammenfassung: | A new computer-assisted conformation radiotherapy with a variable thickness multi-leaf filter system was developed. Each wedgeshaped compensating filter (aluminum, tan θ = 0.1) travels against the movement of the ipsilateral leaf and according to defined parameters. By using our filter, a homogenous dose distribution in the target area was obtained and high-dose levels outside the target area decreased significantly. |
