Zusammenfassung:A patient presented with hyperthyroidism and a thyroid swelling, clinically thought to be malignant. Fine‐needle aspiration of the thyroid nodule revealed microfilariae of Wuchereria bancrofti. After therapy the thyroid swelling subsided and the patient became euthyroid.
