Zusammenfassung:Suggests that the current escalation in prescription rates for stimulants by paediatricians and child psychiatrists for children being presented to them with symptoms of disruptive behaviour disorders is worrying to many health professionals. Many problems are caused by environmental factors and paediatricians need to be advocates for social change and to promote a healthy society in which children can grow up.
