Zusammenfassung:	The Legislation and Public Policy Committee (LPPC) has established a goal of obtaining direct involvement by 10% of the Association membership (that is, approximately 6,000 members) in legislative and regulatory initiatives that directly affect the Association. Over the course of the past year, there have been several opportunities for ADA members to become involved in efforts to influence national nutrition and health policy.
