Zusammenfassung: | We have studied the simultaneous administration of granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF), given concomitantly with an infusion of either doxorubicin or ifosphamide--the former, both intraarterially (i.a.) and intravenously (i.v.), the latter, intravenously--to a group of patients with various malignancies. Such simultaneous administration enabled us to substantially increase the dosage intensity of both, thereby increasing the effectiveness of each drug. No untoward effects have been noted to date. |
