Intracellular organization of DNA precursor biosynthetic enzymes

Deoxyribonucleoside triphosphates (dNTPs) are synthesized by a multienzyme complex in T4 phage-infected bacteria (and probably in other cells). The synthesis of dNTPs is closely coordinated with DNA replication, but the biochemical nature of that coordination has yet to be defined.
