Zusammenfassung:The purpose of this work is to study the WLAN radiation suspected to have high densities of WLAN access points were selected levels present in the environment. Several WLAN hot spots in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The received power signals were measured using a broadband meter and a spectrum analyzer for these sites and compared to the international maximum permissible value. The broadband meter was used to survey the area and at places where measurements were relatively higher narrowband measurements were made using the spectrum analyzer. Measurements were taken at the heights of 1.5 m and 1 m respectively, i.e., the average height of human standing and sitting position. Based on the evaluation of the sites, up to 16 access points were detected in one location. However, the radio frequency radiation exposure from WLAN was found to be below the limits of the standards set by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP).
