Zusammenfassung:This paper presents data from part one of a two-part study which aims to identify what educators in the health professions perceive to be the hallmarks of good practice and effective education in geriatrics. The study employs a two-step inquiry process. In step one, 69 participants in two Geriatric Education Center training programs responded to three questions regarding what constitutes sound geriatric practice and education and what issues effect geriatric care. Results are discussed in relation to concurrence between the two Geriatric Education Centers and among different health disciplines.
