Zusammenfassung:Filaggrin (FLG) is a key protein required for the formation of the stratum corneum (SC) barrier [1], it plays an important role in the maintenance of the skin barrier function [2] and is essential for SC hydration [1]. Filaggrin gene mutations have been reported as an important predisposing factor for atopic dermatitis (AD) and secondary atopic phenotypes such as atopic asthma [3]. In this work, the presence of the protein filaggrin in the skin is detected by using Raman spectroscopy and Principal Component Analysis.
