Zusammenfassung:In an investigation of Cryptosporidium prevalence in asymptomatic children, a cross-sectional prevalence stool survey was performed in September, 1987, in a New York City DCC that was not experiencing epidemic diarrheal disease. The current study has demonstrate that 27% of asymptomatic infants and toddlers were positive for Cryptosporidium in a DCC-based survey.
