Zusammenfassung:	The industrial production of semisynthetic penicillins is based upon the use of 6-aminopenicillanic acid (6-APA), which is produced from one of the fermented penicillins--penicillin V or G. In this report, we describe two possible setups for the use of an immobilized pen V acylase from Novo Industri A/S (SEMACYLASE super(TM)) on a pilot-plant scale. The basic properties of SEMACYLASE super(TM) have been described previously.
