Zusammenfassung:Pulmonary hydatidosis is a rare cause of spinal cord compression. We describe the case of a 49-years-old woman with cervical and dorsal pain, neurologic symptoms affecting upper extremities and a chest film showing a well defined mass in the upper right lobe. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging revealed a pulmonary cyst destroying vertebral bodies and invading the spinal channel to cause spinal cord compression. Surgery and histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of pulmonary hydatidosis.
