Congenital cardiac defects associated with maternal anti-SSA/RO antibodies

The authors describe a neonate who had complex cardiac defects in association with maternal anti-SSA/Ro antibodies, and they suggest that structural abnormalities of the heart might be an infrequent but life-threatening symptom of neonatal lupus syndrome.
