Zusammenfassung: | As managed care and integrated health care delivery systems have developed, the credentialing of physicians, historically a function of the medical profession, has moved to other organizations and individuals. The criteria for credentialing and appointment to hospital staffs and care provider panels has been expanded to include economics and care providers' use of hospital or health organization resources. The rights, responsibilities, and liabilities of those in this enhanced credentialing process are now being played out. |
