Zusammenfassung:	Ly-35 is a mouse lymphocyte surface alloantigen controlled by the Ly-2/3 region on chromosome 6 (Ikegami et al. 1988). The antigen is predominantly expressed in T-cell lineages, and only a few inbred strains derived from Mus musculus molossinus mice possess the antigenic specificity 1. The Ly-35 and Ly-2/3 loci have not been genetically segregated after the typing of more than 130 backcross mice. Therefore, the authors explored the possibility that the Ly-35.1 is a M. m. molossinus -specific allele of the Ly-2/3 rather than a new locus.
