Zusammenfassung:	Progressive subluxation of the wrist as a sequel to vasoocclusive crisis of sickle-cell disease is described. This shares many features with Madelung's deformity. The management depends on the functional disability and the cosmetic appearance. One of our patients needed surgical correction to improve the deformity and the range of motion.
